The Toasted Owl Cafe

Firstly, the owner was complaining to us about "wage increases" costing her too much money. Good forbid a rich lady with multiple businesses has to pay her employees slightly more, but still nowhere near enough to survive! The service was fine, no complaints there. I just feel really bad for the employees. The food was also not very good. Ingredients we're not organic or of particularly great quality. Coffee was ok, french toast tasted burnt, potatoes were extra salty with flavorless gravy on them. Maybe pay your people a living wage and focus on the quality of your ingredients and your food instead of complaining to your customers about a "wage increase" that still doesn't force you to pay your people nearly enough to live. I won't be back. That's for sure.

Amazing. Fast service and delicious food. I had the fried egg sandwich and it was more then plenty. My gf had the horned nest of greatness and she loved it. 6 stars

Excellent breakfast

What a darling cafe. It was filled with authentic retro table and chairs that reminded me of my grandparents' kitchen table. The service was quick, attentive, and very friendly. I had the prosciutto and brie omelet topped with fig jam, field greens, yummy potatoes and toast.....heaven!! I will go back again later in the day and check out some of the delicious cocktails from the drink menu.
