Excellent pub, friendly, with a great range of beers and lagers.

Warm welcome, pork scratchings, proper beer (with a decent rotating selection of guest ales), good prices, roaring fire, dog-friendly, people-friendly, best pub for miles and miles and miles.

My favourite pub! Lovely staff, real good beer, dog friendly, cosy atmosphere, well decorated.

Lovely little bar. The Lukas is especially nice

Really lovely atmosphere and a great selection of beer on keg and cask. They have some great cans to also take away and snacks are available.

Best real Ale micro- pub in our area. Is a tap-room for The Alter Ego brewery. Excellent bar snacks offered and an open-mic event twice a month.
