Came with my 3 kids on a Maple Weekend. We arrived super early on the suggestion of other commenters. The owners and staff were friendly, and amazing with kids! Restroom was clean, food came out hot. Portions were petite, perfect for the kids and for a light breakfast. The lattes all come with 2 shots of espresso (both smalls and large) so stick with the size you like depending on your preferred concentration. The maple syrup tastings were scrumptious (I am partial to the spicy one, the kids liked the OG organic one), and the maple cotton candy and soft serve ice cream were amazing. We did a mini hike down the logging path, participated in the read-a-loud, and the scavenger hunt of knowledge. We drove home with full bellies and a lovely memory, with plans to visit next year! Note to others- this is a small-family business enterprise and self-service style coffee spot/cafe. Consider what you’d expect at a typical coffee spot (I.e. Starbucks), then add a more varied and tasty homemade menu, a cute store, an immaculate sap boiling room, the aroma of boiling maple syrup, and you’ve got this place! P.S. the candles are a secret bonus. What lovely scents! Kid-friendliness: Arrive at 8 for breakfast, tour at 9, read-a-loud at 10, hike, ice cream and cotton candy at 11 home by 12! This is our type of outing with kids.
Finding home Farms is one of my favorite places. The food and coffee is amazing! But even better is the maple syrup truly perfected and the best around. Try and get their maple whip on everything you can. Laura and her husband make our community better love seeing them around and if you ever have a question always willing to help. Can’t wait to see what they come up with next ! Vegetarian options: Options for everyone ! Parking: Parking is easy and free. Kid-friendliness: There’s out door games and activities!
