The Story Cafe - Eatery & Bar

Went for brunch because of the patio. Creative bennies - everything was delicious! Our server was great at accommodating food allergies and preferences, too. Interesting decor inside...a bunch of very eclectic objects that you will make your own stories about! The neighborhood is industrial and parking is somewhat challenging, but there's a small pay lot across the street that isn't expensive. Dietary restrictions: Just tell your server, they can make it work!

The staff were great but the My Way breakfast was served cold, the coffee was so strong that after pouring more than a full cup of creamer and several packets of sugar into it we just gave up and didn't drink it and one of the poached eggs was served with the whites still raw inside. The poster of the naked woman in the bathroom seemed really out of sync with the rest of the vibe and made for some interesting conversations after our young kids used the washroom. Overall it was disappointing.

Ordered the English breakfast. Normally ham, bacon n pork sausage. This came with bacon, chorizo n Bavarian sausage. Not typical of English brekkie. 4 small cherry tomatoes instead of sliced grilled tomatoes. Very little mushrooms, although tasty. Only 1 refill of coffee but good as big mug of coffee so with refill it was plenty. Good service from hostess and server. Only 1 pc of toast, but many other places doing the same. Good dark roast coffee. My friend had Titanic eggs bennie, good. Not sure if I would go back as tried before and parking an issue. Today we paid for parking. Other time we tried lot was full.

Chicken waffle is amazing! Service is beyond good! The Asian girl there is such a sweet heart! I guess she overheard that I said happy birthday to my friend so she prepared a surprise dessert. Thank you!
