Great selection of beers and decent service. Very cozy, great place to hang out with some friends and snack on pub food. Overall good vibes!

Great food, a little but pricy but very tasty. The jazz quartet that played was excellent. Busy for a Wednesday! The bar staff was quick and friendly, but serving staff were slow to check in/take dishes etc.

A truly faithful recreation of a classic British pub (without the TV's, fruit machines and ever present threat of violence). Six(!) local cask beers on tap, rotating guest draught, excellent food, and friendly, knowledgeable servers. My new favourite Halifax pub!

The Stillwell Freehouse is fantastic. The room is cosy and warm. Like all Stillwell locations, they have an amazing selection of beers, and they also offer at least one cocktail on tap. The food gets better every year. Almost all the food I've had there recently has been really delicious. I've never loved the bar service concept. I don't really think it works well with the setup of the room. However, the staff there are all excellent.
