Great atmosphere, solid food and good beer selection.
Delicious burger and fries! The vibe in this restaurant is so amazing as well if you want a chill, laid back, calm atmosphere. Definitely recommend trying it out.
Excellent American food. Once in my life I truly enjoyed fries instead of using them as a stomach filler.
Nice spot appetizers and drinks were good they also have TVs for the spots.
The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. I love the rustic cabin feel and the candle-esque lighting. The beer selection is pretty solid as well. However, when it comes to the main attraction - the food - it was mixed results. Quality control was definitely not in place. The Gochujang Wings were amazing, but the chicken on the Sherman Club was overcooked to the point of almost passing as jerky and the Sherman Burger came out soggy. Definitely not worth the price we paid for either. There are much better places to eat on Ventura Boulevard for less..
It was literally one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. It was cooked medium rare, to perfection. The burger was super juicy and incredibly tasty and served with garlic fries that had a hint of lime. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and it was like being served by friends. It's a bar vibe, because they do have a very large bar, with a cozy atmosphere. This place is amazing. I bookmarked it so I would remember where it is located for future visits. Parking: There's a large parking lot behind the business. The parking is for this restaurant.
Parking: Mostly metered - easier to car share there
I've really enjoyed myself here. They are now among the list of restaurants that add a fee in small print as some sort of customer-antagonistic statement. Go elsewhere.
I am regular here because the service is great, the drinks are great and the food USED to be great Unfortunately after a recent change in chef the food has taken a massive hit. The Peri peri chicken is now a lump of overcooked orzo with an overcooked chicken breast drowning in sauce. The shrimp taco is literally a fried taco shell with oddly seasoned shrimp in it. Nothing else. Pretty much everything we ordered had something wrong with it, burnt cookie, rubber sticky toffee pudding which had no stick, etc. The only thing I can hope is that this menu is the same great menu the old chef made, hopefully the new chef will make their own that better shows off their style, because they can't make this one sing.
