The Seafood King Bessemer

We LOVE the Seafood King in Bessemer. We pretty much eat there at least one a week. Service is great, food is great.

Picked up to go, and it was hot and delicious.

Definitely recommend this place! It’s slept on! 1st time I tried it because I stayed in the hotel next door and I was really impressed. This is my 2nd visit and I purposely drove 40 min from downtown Birmingham for it. Ordered 5lbs of mixed seafood boil, definitely enjoyed it. Half way through the food cooled down so the waitress offered to reheat it and the owner kindly brought it out for us. After we paid and ready to go the waitress offered us to-go drinks. Will not be my last visit.

We had a great time, reasonably priced. Good portions and good flavor! Our waitress was right on it! Whiting, catfish, shrimp, crab and frog legs were really good.
