The Salt Barge

The Salt Barge is a wonderful pub; Jayne and Claire were really welcoming and couldn’t do enough for our party. It has a glorious, chilled out atmosphere, and the music played was not overwhelming. There was a great selection of drinks available, including several alcohol free options!

We were made very welcome by staff and locals however they are not serving food at the moment

Visited The Salt Barge today for my daughter's baby shower. Every thing was absolutely perfect. The pub has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The food was amazing. I had asked for an afternoon tea type buffet and the spread surpassed any expectations that I could have had. I will definitely be back.

What a little gem, shame no kitchen open but we enjoyed drinks by the open fire. The dogs were welcomed

Wonderful food good selection on drink. People so friendly. Been there 3times and never disappointed. Huge dining area with big family tables or quiet 2 people tables. No play area for small children but that’s not a bad things.

Lovely place with lovely staff, loads of parking spaces, darts and a pool table. Highly recommended :)

This pub is massive. Only called in on the way to witton fc and unfortunately the new owners weren't serving food a the time. I'm sure when they do the place will be very popular. On a good note the beer was good and well kept. Good look to the new owners.
