The food here was absolutely amazing ! We had the fish and chips and it was fresh, light and the chips were divine. All of our meals were served with a smile, we were made to feel welcome and I would absolutely recommend this place for a great place to eat.

WE came here last weekend for an evening meal & have to say how impressed we were! The food is INCREDIBLE, we had probably the best steak we had even eaten in our lives! Coupled with excellent, fast service & a wonderful atmosphere... what more could anyone want? Well done, keep up the fantastic work!

Attended a function in the garden room. Very good room with good food and selection of drinks and plenty of staff which always makes things better.

Had my 30th party in The Garden Room at the weekend and it was amazing; the venue, food, team and drinks were all perfect. The venue was super clean, tidy and modern. We went for the taco bar which was incredible, fresh, regularly topped up and lots of choice; I also visited for Sunday roast when first checking the room out and lunch on the day when setting up which was also delicious! The team were all really lovely, welcoming and super helpful. The bar service was quick on the evening to considering they had 60 guests to look after and the selection of drinks were great, they prepared by asking if there was anything I thought would be popular so they could stock up and offered an spritz menu on the night which went down a treat. Huge shout out to Matt, Roz and Tasmin, thank you so much for everything! We will definitely be back and I will recommend your venue to everyone

Wow what an absolute fantastic place. Took my Mother for Mother’s Day, possibly the best meal I’ve ever experienced. The service was amazing, this place is now my go to for any nice meal out. Keep up with the good work guys because you are a huge credit to the Royal Oak.

Had dinner here on a Fridya evening. Whole experience was great, the team were very welcoming and professional. Food was excellent, the pie was fresh with a perfect pastry shell. Duck breast was perfectly cooked and came with a very tasty sauce. Overall very good gastropub food. Will be back!!

Visited for the first time on Mother’s Day and it was lovely. The food was great (we all had the roast), service/staff were fantastic, we will definitely be coming back!
