Spent a very enjoyable couple of hours in this pub this afternoon. The staff and customers were very friendly and the drinks we had were great, especially the beer. The pub was very cosy as well which is much appreciated. Many establishments seem to be quite chilly these days. Whilst I accept the rising costs of fuel etc, sitting in a cold place is not much fun. Wheelchair accessibility: Not exactly wheelchair but I am using a Rollator at present. The entrance was easy to negotiate and everyone was very helpful when we left as the pub was really busy by then.
Went to nephews wedding reception and what a lovely pub the buffet was amazing staff were so friendly and happy
Great little village pub, nice kept beers and great wines. Great atmosphere.
Lovely place for a light lunch!
Didn't have any food just went for a casual drink and was not disappointed. Everything was clean and tidy without appearing sterile and kept plenty of character. Staff were very friendly and helpful even offering a taste of the non alcoholic draught lager before buying a pint. Will definitely be back as they have a lunch menu that looks great.
Lovely pub and a lovely welcome.
Wonderful little quaint country village boozer. A great range of drinks and real ales on offer, including Vixen form the local Charnwood Brewery. The place always offers a sanctuary and haven after a busy day, either sat in the courtyard in the summer or in front of the roaring fire on a cold winters day.
