Delicious food, good coffee, pleasant surroundings, attentive, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere all make this a perfect place for lunch, especially as everything is much cheaper than you'd expect.

This is a lovely cafe! The food is really nice and they always serve you generous portions! The cafe also doubles as a shop which always has lots of things to look at!

Great facility for the local community. I had an excellent breakfast in the cafe and found a good book in the well-organised shop. Highly recommended if you live nearby or happen to be passing through.

Was really made wecome,and met some lovely people.lost my husband in august and felt lost but now i go to the royal oak and someone will talk and nake me feel relaxed.prices are good for nice food as well.

I had a pot wonder chicken pie. It was a great meal with good service . Great to have a warm plate and probably the best value in town.
