Reasonable not overly impressed no
Very decent food. Service a little slow, but they were busy. A little expensive, but I suppose you pay for decent quality.
Food was divine Staff friendly but slow on service we was waiting 15mins for someone to take our drinks order once we was sat down in the end we jus went to the bar other than that everyone was polite an warm welcoming. 1st time visiting, we definitely visit again the food was delicious portion sizes are great value for the money. Definitely recommend booking a table in advance as it was busy. Luckily, we had one booked already. Plenty of gluten-free options available Dietary restrictions: Has plenty of gluten-free options available
1st time customers for Sunday lunch & the meal was absolutely beautiful & tasty roast beef family had turkey too. Great staff welcoming friendly and polite and attentive, but not over the top attentive, just the right balance. Will definitely return. Thank you, The Royal Oak. 10/10.
Had an early Sunday roast at the weekend. Meat was lovely. Roast veg was burnt and old. Must have been leftover from Saturday. The steamed veg was very sparse and it was cold. Cauliflower cheese at an extra £4.50 was raw. Not going again.
Very disappointed been before midweek excellent food went Sunday 6 o'clock different menu to midweek, meal cool looked like it had been reheated
