The River View Cafe

Had a few hours to kill, so we had a cheeky drink and a cake. Lovely views on the terrace. Going again for sure.

£3.00 for a can of coke.. Outrageous. Overpriced food and shoddy service. Rusty chairs will mark your clothing outside. Service as sloppy as their tuna melt.

What a lovely cafe this is, a tad expensive but most places are these days. Lovely and cosy and a great outside eating area with a lovely view. Certainly be going again.

Excellent little cafe. Particularly enjoyed the Welsh Rarebit and the great coffee. Great looking cake selection as well! I'm sure if the weather is fine the views from the balcony across Shrewsbury would be stunning!

Fantastic customer service staff are really friendly, outside tables and chairs with lovely views and it's dog friendly . Will definitely be visiting again .

Couldn’t recommend this place enough, spoke with Matthew via email about the afternoon tea and weather something could be done about a gluten free one as our daughter is coeliac, he was really quick to respond and really helpful and made up a separate off the menu, gluten free afternoon tea for her. The food and service were fantastic as usual, this is defiantly our go to place when having lunch in town.

The view over the river was wonderful and we shall return in the warmer weather and eat outside. Plenty of choice for breakfast. We chose the full English with the option to add or remove items. The coffee was also very good as was the service. Very friendly
