The Restaurant Bar & Grill Leeds

We were in Leeds (for football game v Blackburn Rovers) and went to the old post building after match. The bar was full so sat outside in the sun and had some tapas: hummus, tempura prawns and french fries along with some beers. The atmosphere was lovely and enjoyable and reasonably priced .So much so, we returned the following day and had the exact same snacks again . Lorna, the server was really nice and attentive. Would recommend the restaurant to all. Will come back the next time in Leeds!

Visited recently with a couple mates for drinks. Good atmosphere and helpful bar staff - Daniel at the bar’s recommendation of drinks were amazing

We have eaten there many times before the refurb. We went last Sunday for the Sunday roast. It was abysmal! I had the lamb which was inedible . My wife had chicken which was a whole chicken on a plate. Quantity but not quality.It was not described on the menu as on the bone We questioned having to pay for the two mains with a Manager. The lamb and bread was removed from the bill but still charged for the chicken despite the plate going back in the state it was served. We will not be returning as we had planned to come with friends as we eat in Leeds regularly on a Sunday. The number of tables taken for lunch on our last two visits probably explains the standard of food served. Sorry RBG but you need to get your act together.

Leeds now has a 'lunch-must-go' place. Having not been to RBG for a while I had not seen the new refurb yet, they have sucessfully kept all the best bits and added more. We were walk-ins and were given a banquette table by the maître d, Jonathan. He couldn't have been more welcoming. All of us went for the surf&turf, delicious and cooked to point. The house Malbec Jonathan advised us to order was surprisingly good and just a great light lunchtime wine we wanted. Deserts and drinks followed. We made our return train to London, the later one. Thank you to the whole team and to J. We will be back.
