The Refuge Restaurant & Lounge

Went to the restaurant twice last week when I was in yuba city for a business trip loved the restaurant so much very well done up on inside great ambiance great food including appetizers &drinks had the lamb chops butter chicken &garlic Naan and chicken Tikka and cocktail size the staff was really friendly suman from goatook great

This evening we trying to get in for dine in the guy at the restaurant said where you going we said for dine in he said you should ask where you going ask first and was all rude and show so much disrespectful in front of other people it was so embarrassing nd never gonna recommend anyone for this disrespect and stupidity

It’s a nice place for small parties but the food quality is questionable. Found a broken spring in food served to guests that I assume was from the kitchen equipment. Told staff about it and they just nodded their head and said they would tell the kitchen. Their body language told me this isn’t the first time and that they could care less.

Well, I tried to avoid leaving negative remarks about this business, but, they took my money through THEIR OWN WEBSITE, didn’t have my order, refused to refund my money and after speaking to a manager still refuse to refund the money—he’s so professional he hung up on me. It’s $160–I’ll get over it—but I sure hope this warns at least one person from going there. Shady business, rude customer service, thieves.

Went with a fairly large group. Everyone thought Indian food was good. Service was very poor. Steak I ordered was shoe leather. Sorry, won’t be recommending this restaurant to anyone.

Great place in Yuba City for some good Indian. Excellent service too.
