The Real Greek - Norwich

Four of us have just enjoyed a delicious meal - our waiter Raoul went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable, even recommending places we may like to visit during our stay in Norwich. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone Vegetarian options: The filo spinach and feta parcels were delicious

First time at The Real Greek, food was fantastic and was a good vibrant atmosphere, however the staff Theodosia and Eirini are amazing and recommendations of Custard Pie for dessert was brilliant Definitely recommend

My wife treated me to a special meal here before a nice show at the theatre Royal. Anything but authentic! The Greek salad was awful. Cut up plum tomatoes, a few bits of cucumber and honestly two small pieces of red onion and a small square of feta, pathetic. Our lamb skewers were both burnt to a cinder, along with the peppers/onions..Lamb was tough as old boots ..and chewy.. The only thing nice was the staff. Wouldn't be in a hurry to go back. Not recommended. Chefs need to get back to basics.

Everything was wonderful until you get the bill which automatically charges a 10% surcharge, I appreciate you can request to have this removed and of course we didn’t as we felt it unfair due to staffs friendly manner and did not want them feeling uncomfortable. Although the fact the business does this instantly spoiled the experience and makes you question if in fact it goes to the waiters and waitresses. Please set your prices for what you want and let people tip off their own accord, I would have happily done so as the staff are very friendly. This review would have been 5 stars if it weren’t for the surcharge.
