The Queens Hotel - JD Wetherspoon

Was nice but the grilled chicken was tough to eat.

Went here for dinner ordered steak etc the steak was supposed to be 8oz it was small thin very fatty and chewy and a very small amount of chips.2 of us ordered this and we both left it .I then ordered apple crumble and ice cream as still hungry.When it arrived when you put the spoon over the crumble it went to a smooth paste so I left that. I will never eat their again and I often eat in wetherspoons in a different area and it's always good.Someone had gammon but it was so thin you could mistake it for fatty bacon.A child was riding a scooter up and down where we were eating

Beautiful building with a toilet that is not upstairs. Not the biggest car park. Great size bar. Huge pub with outdoor seating. Lift from the car park to the pub level. Clean and tidy If it's good enough for the prime minister

Only go in if you have to. If you're in anyway different or not from around there the natives don't like it.

The queen's hotel is a nice wetherspoons pub. The staff were friendly and the service quick, even though it was very busy on the evening we called in. There was a good choice of beers, lagers, and cider, including a good selection of cask conditioned real ales. There was a pub quiz on the night we called in, Something I have never seen in a wetherspoons before. There is an outside seating area and a car park. Vegetarian options: Is there a vegetarian options on the menu? Dietary restrictions: The staff ask if you have any allergies. There are vegan options on the menu. Parking: The pub has its own car park and there is free on street park. Kid-friendliness: The pub is child friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is flat. The pub is all on one level. OK, access for wheelchairs.
