Best pie in Cardiff! Absolutely delicious food, and anywhere that does 4 types of mash is a winner in my eyes The garlic mash is especially good. Love that it's now possible to book a table too :)

I absolutely love this spot! Everything on the menu is 100% vegan (even the coffee comes from the UK's only vegan roastery!) and delicious. The pastry on the pies is golden and flaky, the mash is superbly seasoned, and you'd be an idiot not to try something from their overflowing pastry counter. This place is so close to Cardiff Central that if your train gets cancelled, you should definitely wander over for a coffee and a cookie sandwich. Come for brunch, deliver vegan french toast directly to your house, or grab a box of pie, mash and gravy for a tenner on your way home from work. 10/10

You definitely have to visit the Pie Box and try as much food as possible : everything is absolutely delicious ! Now even in France you’ll be famous !

We were passing and stopped to maybe get a pie or a pastry to take out, but we ended up sitting down for the brunch specials (Banana and caramel stuffed french toast and choc chip pancakes), both excellent. The shop is small and had a good atmosphere with the doors flung open on a sunny Sunday. We will be back. Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegan

Great little cafe, the pies are top notch and the brownies are out of this world. As a non vegan I discovered this little gem through friends who are but have been back on more than one occasion without them and will do so again.
