The Peach Cobbler with ice cream was amazing
It was a Sunday evening, 92 degrees at 9:00 pm. The PCF was busy, so busy they couldn't keep up with the orders onsite and pick up. Patrons seemed to be happy sitting and chatting. The smells emanating from the store were enchanting. I had heard about the PCF and was anxious to try it. Although I was there to pickup an order, i was going to get something for myself. As soon as I stepped through the door I knew I wouldn't be able to order anything due to the late night rush for ice cream on a hot humid summer night. My issue with this establishment is why would they put someone out front who is not personable or competent to deal with the public in a pressure situation. She refused to acknowledge me, wouldn't make eye contact even though I could reach out and touch her. When I finally said Ma'am, she blew me off with indifference. When she returned to me and told me the order wasn't ready, I politely asked her, approximately how much longer it might be, as I was willing to wait. She said she had no idea. Poor customer service. If she was new and inexperienced, then I apologize. I didn't get that feeling..put her in the back and conduct some customer service training.
I ordered the OG pudding through door dash and it was so good! Taste like how my great auntie use to make 😭
The brownies are such a generous portion for a fair price! So so good and warm! The vibes and music are also amazing, will becoming back!
First time in D.C. and just stayed around the corner from the cobbler factory.. I took a quick walk and stumbled upon this gem. Lots of different choices on the menu from banana pudding, cinnamon rolls, and of course peach cobbler. There's tons of flavors to choose from each item. First off prices ok but fair, I did order a cheesecake pudding and for a bigger guy I was full. All in all if your in town please give this place a try you won't regret it.
I got the sweet potato pecan cobbler flavor. The sweet potato had absolutely no flavor. I ate 1/4 of the dessert. I went to ask the manager if I could exchange it for something else. She felt as though I ate too much of the dessert and said I ate half. I politely let her know that In fact I only ate 1/4. If I did eat 1/2 you would clearly see the container would be half empty which it was not.
Great service and incredible dessert food.
Not sure about the business model, but I can't understand why
they warm up everything in a microwave order, and charge 11$ for a cinnamon bun with 4 oz. of sweet potatie
