The Pavilion Cafe and Bar

We have been visiting this cafe weekly since January 2023. The food and service is always excellent and very good value for money. The staff are friendly, efficient and attentive, and the cafe is warm and welcoming. I would recommend the coffee, it always hits the spot. A++ Parking: Free parking on the grounds, can become very busy at times due to the cafe’s popularity.

It was good to get plain tuna with the jacket potato, most places add mayonnaise . The skin though was very hard so I left part of the skin.

Used to love this little cafe, we would always call for breakfast when staying on Chatsworth Caravan site but unfortunately on our last visit when asking for a Gluten Free breakfast we where told they had stopped providing GF options as there wasn't a call for it!! The girl behind the counter offered a Vegetarian breakfast instead and admitted she had no clue what Gluten Free was worryingly!! When I explained I could still have the bacon, egg, beans, hash browns & tomatoes she really had no clue. On top of that I asked for a fresh orange juice and got a carton of juice made from concentrate. Really disappointing will not be calling again sadly
