The Painted Mug Cafe

The Painted Mug Cafe is a performance space and cafe in Philadelphia dedicated to empowering the local LGBTQIA+ community. We are a collaborative team of queer artists seeking to serve our community through ambitious programming made accessible physically and digitally. We will reinvest in the QTPOC and disabled artists of our city by prioritizing a shared narrative in our programming and designing a space that decenters drugs and alcohol and is both ADA compliant and queer-friendly. We seek to provide opportunities for growth including access to work and professional development. We believe a performance space for queer artists designed by queer artists is as unique as it is empowering.
