The Original Steak & Rib House

Wanted to get a nice lunch and this restaurant looked like it would fit. The bill. Had a nice salad bar old style. It's very nice. The decor is old style steakhouse. Heavy wood en really enjoyable. The service was okay. The food was excellent. Really enjoyed our luncheon. My wife had they pulled pork sandwich with drip to the salad bar and she really enjoyed it. I snuck a little taste and it was excellent and very tasteful and tender. I opted for there as they call it almost famous 10 oz burger and I added a fried egg on top. It was nice to be able to order a burger and get it cooked to. My specification is not just overdone like some places do. Also, as a side I had there their homemade mac and cheese topped with Brunswick stew which was an excellent idea. They call it redneck lasagna .Really enjoyed that. Always good to stop and eat at a local own place and keep the money and the profits in the local community. Definitely will stop by again

My girlfriend and I have come to this place a few times and the food has always been AMAZING! She is obsessed with their mac and cheese and steaks. However, we went today for lunch with my sister and the service was terrible. The place was relatively dead at the time also so its not like the waitress was having to run around to different tables. We were the only table in her section at the time. She kept sitting down in the booth behind the kitchen door and just texting until one of the people from the kitchen came out and then all of the sudden she was up “doing something”. She got the drinks for everyone mixed up said she would fix it but never came back. Waited 20-30 minutes and then had to go find a different waitress which she was very nice and ended up fixing the drinks for us. We ordered all of our food and appetizers about 5 minutes in. At 50 minutes, no food or any of the appetizers and we hadn’t been checked on a single time. I think she forgot to put our order in honestly. We ended up leaving and going to Texas Roadhouse.

Good food for the price.. definitely not the best bbq ive had.. but still pretty good! Full bar, servers are definitely awesome.

The Brisket Sandwich is on point. Exactly what I was looking for

Seems like they're understaffed. Cook under cooked the steak then on the recook he almost burned them

We were very pleased with all the food. The bacon is amazing. They were very busy, and service was super great.

Really great steak for a reasonable price. Will go back on a regular basis. UPDATE they have a new hostess she is better food still great we go atleast 3 to 4 times a month.
