The Original Rainbow Cone - Lombard

I tried a new ice cream, orange cream ? OMGOSH, SO DELICIOUS. Will be back soon. The most beautiful ice cream Parlor I have ever visited! Great time and my 3 year old grandson preferred my ice cream too! But, EVERYTHING TRULY WAS DELICIOUS. GREAT PLACE!

Cutest ice cream shoppe! Service was splendid and the workers were so happy. Only rating it a 4 since so many of the flavors offered are still coming and not available yet.

Lady behind the register was rude. Ordered 2 dozen doughnuts and every single piece came out deformed. Not a single doughnut shape. Just a bunch of blobs of bread. Maybe go early in the morning for a better experience.

My husband and I were at the Lombard location today (1/27/2024 at 5:45pm). We ordered online after we left the restaurant we were at for dinner. We made it to rainbow cone before the twenty minute online order recommendation. We went to the drive through and was told by an employee to go to window two. After driving up to window two we were met by a young girl who opened the window and said, “What’s the name?” with an attitude. After her the name, she rolled her eyes and said, “It’ll be a while.” We said no big and she closed the window. After waiting only a few minutes, the young girl came back to the window, opened the window basically threw our shakes at my husband. I leaned forward from the passenger seat and said “Thank you, have a great night.” But this young girl rolled her eyes again, huffed, and closed the window. Young girl, if you do not like your job, you really should get a different one. Customer service is not where you should be working. Mangers, I hope you take this post seriously. We have never had a bad experience at this location before this. This was very disappointing.
