The Old Spot Hotpot 老地方非尝麻辣火锅

Ordered mild spicy, food came extra spicy. I called saying they did it wrong. The staff was implying it’s because my taste is not tolerable to spice and the chef came from a place famous for spicy food, so the standard is based on the chef’s taste. They just simply made a mistake and can you imagine? They blame customers when receiving reviews!

服務不錯。麻辣鍋的湯底還可以～ 整體菜的價格小貴。 調味料比較少！ 不過New Jersey 靠紐約一側，就這一家火鍋店，很不錯啦！

We ordered delivery. The rice smells *bad* and *tastes sour*. I had diarrhea and might cause food poison. Plz care about customer's health?

37美金的麻辣拌 菜和肉少的离谱 盖在最上面 下面全部都是粉丝。 口味不是麻辣+麻酱，而是难吃的酸甜辣混合口味，一股醋味。 土豆片是土豆块，13美金一份的虾滑只有几颗。不会再点。

Around the time I went (6-7 pm on a Sunday), it wasn't that busy so it was quiet and calm. The food and service were great!
