We're regular diners at the Broken Cross. We always have a great dining experience, great food and great service.
Food great service not so good
Lovely pub with good food and good service
We told the staff my child had Dairy Allergy at the time of booking, at the time of seating and a staff member asked the kitchen what he could have. Ordering we told them again he has dairy allergy and another member of the team came and checked again but still dairy filled garlic bread came out on his plate. My Cesar salad was not worth the £15 I had to add mayo it was so dry. No vegan ice-cream for my dairy free child however he could have had a crumble or a brownie but yet again he would miss out half the dish as no vegan ice-cream. We paid and left. Terrible experience
Had a beautiful Easter Sunday roast with my wife, came here by chance after an airport drop off (20 minutes from Manchester airport). Lamb shank cooked to perfection and nice starters too. Not a bad price at all would happily have paid more.
Excellent food and great portions
