Beer was flat, full of yuppies with children they can't look after...
Not my first, or last visit. Staff ste always welcoming. Not eaten there for a while. When I did is was ok. Decent pub food Good pint of Timothy Taylors, not always a given these days sadly
This was better than I expected. The menu selection was limited but this may have been because it was Mother’s Day. However, considering how busy they were, the food was cooked perfectly and the service was good - we were a table of 18. The atmosphere score is because if you are dining without children (we had 6 at our table) beware as this is a child friendly pub and you may feel the noise from children is load.
Always serve Great food, cosy decor with wood fires. The most dog friendly pub I’ve ever been to
Just enjoyed a superb Sunday Beef Roast, totally recommend. Also, the Timothy Taylors Landlords Bitter was on great form.
Beautiful pub with lovely wines and atmosphere. Note: Only BT open access wifi and very poor net network. Wheelchair accessibility: Great. The doors are a bit sticky. Pull the left one and opens fine.
I had Christmas dinner with my nieces family, the food was delicious, I had the turkey and it was amazing, very few restaurants can cook it properly, but they did here,it was juicy and full of flavour,as was the trimmings, the staff were amazing and attentive, highly recommend.
