Dodges Market is the oldest continuing operating store in the state of New Jersey. The store became a National landmark in 1978 and has been open since 1886. It is known for its famous sharp cheese, roasted peanuts and cashews. The store got a new look and took on a new identity in 2010 when the restaurant was added along with a coffee bar, bakery and private dining for up tp 52 people in the elegant chestnut room located on the second floor of the market.
