Very busy and I understand why. The food was so good. Do yourself a favor and get the cabbage and Brussels sprouts.

A new Halifax gem that has a similar vibe to Henry House. It’s a very English pub style with great food and service. It’s always busy and trying to find a seat can be tough but it’s worth it.

Came in evening my wife had already been there a few times and brought clients who never knew about it. It was everything and lit with candles everywhere great ambience like a Scottish pub at night. Great service from Sandy. Hot hamburger and hot chicken great. Especially the chicken. Had warm toffee sticky pudding dessert. Had to take home food couldn't eat it all good portions. Had some local IPA draft. Even visiting the washroom upstairs it was like walking into history with 50's music playing. Couldn't recommend it more. So often places disappoint for your money this place delivered.

I've been to many a pub, but this is by far the nicest. Great decor, great staff, great food. A true gem of an establishment.

My husband and I dined in for the first time recently, and we loved it! The food was just delicious! We had the "Frite Taters", "The Dutch Mess" and the "Boiled Dinner", 100% recommended. The ambient is really cozy and the decor is quite beautiful. Also, the service was great and the staff are friendly! It is a little expensive, but it's worth it!

This place is exceptional. The food is scrumptuous, usually plentiful, and always filling. The decor is great. It's vibrant without being overly loud. And the staff have just nailed the art of being welcoming while also going about their busy jobs.
