The Mucky Duck, Drakeholes

Sunday lunch was excellent. Good choice on the menu which also offers 2 courses or 3 courses for a set price. We felt it was very good value for a good meal.

Ordered cumberland sausage never seen one so small looked like cumberland worm

The atmosphere, food and service are excellent Kid-friendliness: We have eaten here as a family with young children and also with friends either way we are always made to feel very welcome

Was here a on a Sunday for a family celebration, absolutely first class all round. Has roast beef which was very nicely cooked and the accompanying veg was perfect. All the staff were attentive and made sure everything was just so. One of our party is lactose intolerant and their individual needs were very well catered for. If I had one niggle (aside from overall top marks) it would be the ice cream dessert which was very tasty but was literally 3 tea spoon size scoops. Would definitely return and the Mucky Duck is very highly recommended. Dietary restrictions: Any dietary requirements you may have - just let the staff know and they will discuss with you.

Visited here for Sunday lunch, was disappointed in the lamb roast, meat was not tender. Good selection and plenty of vegetables. Service very slow, was with a fairly large party and everybody was asking if we'd been forgotten
