The MoonCricket Grille

No Crickets here, this was a bustling great cafe. Food was delicious, we all had a burger of some sort. Tons of beer selection. I’d recommend and we will be back.

We came here last week for lunch. I didn't check the reviews so that was the first mistake. There were four people in our group. I had a bad vibe about this place and told everyone we should not eat here. But we sat down and it was the most horrible meal we had in Winter Garden. The fish was so salty It was disgusting. The chicken sandwich with avocado was as dry as a bone. The coleslaw tasted like nothing but vinegar and salt. I got the potato salad and it was horrible cut up potatoes with no mayonnaise on a plate what the hell.! The fries were served cold so we had to order more. I returned my rock hard potato salad for some sweet potato fries and those were the only things that were good. My sister got a salad. She said it was okay. We ordered the soup of the day which was supposed to be like a shrimp soup. It was bland bland bland. And we never did find one piece of shrimp. The waiter told us people come from all over to have their soup. Really ? We sent it back. And made sure it was taken off the check. I will never come here again. Horrible food. What a waste of money.. . This experience definitely ruined our trip to Winter Garden which was my mother-in-law's first time here.

First time visitor to this cute little town and this restaurant caught our attention. Unfortunately, besides the name and interior ambiance, this restaurant falls short on everything else. We were greeted by a lack luster waitress that seemed annoyed we were sitting in her section. Her service was subpar at best. Food was bland and my burger was so over cooked that you couldn't even tell if it had cheese on it. I never return food but the moment it was placed in front of me I returned it to the kitchen requesting that it would be fixed. The same burger was returned to me 5 min later without any improvement. I ate it because my daughter and I were hungry and we were sharing a meal. McDonald's burgers have better flavor than this. Not even ketchup could make this taste good. The rest of my guests felt their food was edible but over priced based on quality and flavor. Things are expensive now a days so to go out and eat is a treat. The least we can expect is service with a smile and flavorful food. This place had neither for our $75 bill for 4 adults (no alcohol). If you have a choice, I would recommend skipping this restaurant.

All the waitresses have an attitude, the food took forever and when I got it it was extremely salty and I couldn’t eat it , won’t be back .

Great place and good food! The place was packed but still received prompt service. Ordered the red fish which was really well prepared. Prices are so reasonable! The only criticism is the bathrooms are in need of a thorough spruce up and deep cleaning. Dusty and fixtures are beat up.
