The Milehouse

Excellent meal at The Milehouse. The pork was cooked well and service was very attentive.

My second visit to this establishment and it will be my last. Mediocre food, slow service, overpriced, nowhere near worth what we paid.

We hired the private room for my daughters 16th birthday as there were 26 of us. The staff were amazing and the food was exceptional. They even gave my daughter a mocktail and birthday card which was a lovely touch. I will definitely return.

We came for a meal on Wednesday and everything was perfect. Thanks so much to Megan for our cocktails and her wonderful hospitality! Xx

No fillet steak or t bone available , cold garlic bread , re heated chips brown and soggy , chocolate fudge cake you could bounce of a wall , over rated for the price .

Visited today for my 40th for the first time what a lovely place, amazing food top service and what a lovely bunch of staff they made my special day even more better with giving me a birthday card a drink and a dessert much appreciated. Keep up the fantastic work

The food was lovely, the restaurant looks really nice. The service however was shocking. Firstly we had booked a table for 6pm. But wasn't sat until 6:30pm. We work in the industry so understand any delays in tablets being ready. Not a problem we will get a drink at the bar. Slowest service ever. They need someone dedicated to just cocktails which would quicken service on drinks up.. When we were sat the table location was beautiful. But at no point we're we approached by waiting on staff to get some drinks or water for the table. We had pre ordered our meal as we were a larger table. They came to us to ask a couple of questions about the pre order and gone. There was no check back on the food, there was no service. 1 member of our party unfortunately felt ill as the mains were served so she didn't eat her food. When they cleaned the plates we asked if they could wrap it up. Someone came back with tin foil and told us they were not allowed to touch the food. A good night was ruined by lack of service. I wouldn't recommend for any larger tables over 4 them seem to think you don't need to provide a service to them. Really disappointed.

13 of us went for my daughters 17th birthday, when we got there we were told the table wasn't ready and to get a drink in the bar, no problem at all. The table was finally ready at 6.30, booked for 6pm. We were all sat together on one long table and the area was very nice, we were under a tree. We were asked a couple of questions about the food and that is as much service as we had. The staff bought the food out and we were completely forgotten about after that, there was no check back or offer of anymore drinks or water. I didn't feel very well so didn't eat any of my meal but when the plates were being cleared I asked for a take away box. I was told they don't do them and then bought me a roll of tin foil out, he explained I needed to do it myself as they aren't allowed to touch the food. We will not be returning, there was no service and the staff looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but there. Very disappointed and I do not recommend going

Beautiful food and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.
