The Local Peasant - Sherman Oaks Restaurant and Bar

When we were sat our sever was quick with the water and then the drink order. After that if we didn’t get his attention we didn’t see him. Our app came out cold, and our food took FOREVER to come out. Additionally they couldn’t seem to get tables straight. We had someone else’s app come to our table also and then our food went to the table beside us first. The food was ok. The chicken on the sandwich seemed a bit overcooked and the server put in the wrong fries. We did flag down someone (not our server) to get that fixed. Loved the vibe but service and food left something to be desired.

This is THE place for comfort food. From their delicious burgers to their homemade chips. By the number of TVs and the giant TV in the back room you’d think this is a major sports bar but while there will be some people watching whatever game is on it’s not really the vibe here. Come to hang with your friends & enjoy the good foods and fun cocktails

Excellent, fresh food! Fast, attentive service. The locally sourced food is a huge plus! I have had better chicken and waffles, but still very good. My friend’s pork belly was delicious. I also had the fudge bread pudding which was the perfect desert to finish the meal. Very affordable for the quality!

This is a fun hidden bar in Sherman Oaks. It has good beer and basic bar food. That is good. I would recommend this place and check it out. It’s a fun place to hang out.

Hands down the best burger in the area. Drinks are great and the food is delicious. The bacon on the burger was something I could eat a whole plate of. It was so good. Skip the thick cut fries and opt for their regular fries. Server was friendly. Parking is a bit difficult as it is only valet or metered street parking.

We love this place. Great food and drinks. The bartenders know their stuff and they always have amazing local brews on tap.
