Brilliant Sunday lunch sat in the sun ☺️ Warm friendly atmosphere and easy access from the water. Lots of tasty veggie/vegan options. The owners are clearly working really hard to make this a fantastic pub and it really shows ☺️

Didn't eat as the place was too full. Was told the food was good though and looked tasty.

Once again, we had a lovely meal. The staff are very down to earth. It's one of my favourite places on the broads

Fantastic pub located with moorings on the broads. Easily accessible by road. Fantastic pub, great food, great beer and great service. This pub is a real ale lovers paradise! Pubs this for are very few and far between, use it or lose it folks! Highly recommended. Parking: Parking directly outside and within the pubs grounds. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly pub, plenty of tables and very child friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible by wheel chair

Handy if mooring in the dyke, only a short stroll, but take a torch!We only had chips, but they were great, a good selection of beers as well. Dog friendly

We got take away meals on a busy Saturday afternoon and they were amazing! We ordered fish&chips and chicken and bacon loaded fries. The portion sizes are brilliant and they offer value for money. I live an hour and a half away but already wondering what I'm going to try next

Amazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is always great, the staff are always so friendly and kind. The menu and food couldn't be any better and the prices are fair . We always love visiting The Lion at Thurne . Dietary restrictions: Amazing for Gluten Free nothing is to much.

My wife and I visited whilst on a boating holiday with our dog. This is a dog friendly pub. A good selection of beers and as they had their Oktoberfest happening there were guest German beers as well. Initially I popped up in the afternoon when we moored for a pint and had this in the garden, later we ate in the restaurant area. Nice place.

We stopped here for a roast dinner, absolutely amazing
