Over priced and only existing because of the location. Charging the prices they do in a more competitive environment would see this business fold quickly. Disappointing that you are asked to tip staff after you order and pay online, little service received. The staff we did contact with were friendly and polite.
Sadly human error occurred using the app and I ordered 3 bacon baps instead of 2. I opted for extra bacon & an egg but I guess some how it added an extra bap. We asked politely to return it as untouched ( waitress present) but the manager refused on the bases we ordered it. Very disappointing customer service tbh
What AMAZING service we received here today. Kirsty couldn't do enough for us and was an absolute superstar. We are a group of 10 people and she managed to sort tables out and ensure we were all happy, even though it was busy. The food and drinks came to our table within 5 minutes of ordering online and food was amazing. Thank you everyone!!!!!!
We ate here before our flight to Berlin, Be Warned, my partner had the chicken tikka masala which she is convinced was cooked the day before and re-warmed up because the dog wouldn’t eat it. As for my burger at £17 it was terrible, not cooked properly and poor quality. After arriving in Berlin I was violently ill for 4 hours and sick the next day. Filthy disgusting expensive place that I will never frequent again.
Maybe better for lunch/dinner but the quality of the cooked breakfast, is so low, tastes horrible and you just feel it sitting there in your stomach, both the meat and the vegan one. Do like that you order with your phone though.
Never again will we eat at The Lion and Antelope. Burgers of terrible quality, the meat is really strange and I just hope we won't get sick. For £17 per burger, I am expecting premium Angus and not the kind of meat we got.
This review only addresses the bar. Don’t expect to get served quickly. Most frequently there is only one person serving, and I’ve seen the queue extending through the seating area. A very disappointing service which management ought to address. Perhaps one suggestion is to have two servers, one for meals and one for just drinks
