Family birthday celebration, food was very good, good service and a very lively pub. Starters was very good meat balls and garlic prawns , there burger special very good and the baked cod loin was good

We had Sunday lunch and found every aspect of our experience spot on. We will be returning and highly recommend.

they charged a £24 service charge as there were 8 of us - this was not mentioned when we booked. Charged £16 for a plate of roast vegetables as they had run out of nut roast. They charge £4 if you want extra gravy. Ran out of apple crumble for desserts. This was at 2pm on a Sunday - not something you would expect!

So glad I booked for the Sunday lunch on the Easter Bank Holiday as it was quite busy. Staff were friendly with good service. Overall, very nice and cosy, would definitely recommend.

I do not give praise lightly and I have high expectations. I am well known for being critical and complaining. However, the Sunday lunch I had today at the Red Rose, Lindsey was outstanding. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive and the staff were knowledgable. Thank you.
