First outside evening drink of the year watching the sunset

I'm grading pretty hard here. Really nothing to complain about. Lights were too bright at dinner and the table was an odd height. I can tell they tried to do something special with the food and came close, but . . . We both had a special. Mine was bacon, sausage and black pudding with gravy and mash. Gravy and mash was just ok. Bacon wasn't cooked enough and sausage wasn't crisp. But as I say they were trying something more than ordinary pub grub.

Great pub food and great location on the banks of the river Weaver.

Second time here. Food lovely and staff really helpful. Great setting too Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free menu with loads of choices

All the staff are friendly, it's busy but doesn't feel cramped and the food was top notch.
