Stark County native Tom Ascani has opened the bar and restaurant in the former Downtowner Motor Inns hotel, which closed in the 1970s. Food is plentiful and affordable at the Leather Helmet Grill, including sausage subs, pulled pork sandwiches, homemade soup and Coney dogs.
