Black Coffee

Shot of espresso with sugar added directly to the espresso pitcher. The heat from the coffee-making process will hydrolyze some of the sucrose, thereby creating a sweeter and slightly more viscous result than a normal pull or adding sugar at the table.

Malta (also called young beer) is a type of soft drink. It is a carbonated malt beverage, meaning it is brewed from barley, hops, and water much like beer. It is similar in color to stout (dark brown) but is very sweet, generally described as tasting like molasses.
