The staff are very friendly and very helpful and will help you with what you need. Gavin the manager and Josh the cook are very professional drinks and food are very reasonable priced. Gavin will happily talk with you and have a laugh with you whilst on the job, which is very rare for staff member to do nowadays. I would 100% recommend this restaurant. It’s also child friendly.
We came on a sleepy Saturday lunchtime so food Waa limited only so not totally a fair assessment. Sandwiches, crepe or baked potato was all there was on offer. Chips were really tasty, but sandwiches were soggy, limp, sliced white bread and disappointing due to the bread. Simple improvement could be to toast the bread. Otherwise nice looking pub I would like to try another time when full menu is on. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp available, good space inside so wheelchair could pull up to table. No real issues with accessibility to main area I saw.
Bar staff nice. Got warm from the wet nice people .
Lovely pub, but sadly for me they do not have real ale on the pump. They did have John Smith's on tap but unlikely to visit again
Rude staff on check in. No food being served that night despite being told they did serve food. Rooms very nice. Pub dingy.
Called in recently on a Friday lunchtime. It was dead! Four workmen! No lights on! No heating! Girl behind the bar Yawning! Gents loo smelly and dirty! Awful pint of Madri, tasted more like Carling! Wife's coffee was cold and all milk! No food on offer! Been going here for over 50 years and I have never seen a transformation from what was a busy friendly place. I can only envisage the shutters up again and I heard its only re-opened!
Went there yesterday disgusting food as for being clean understatement the utensil were dirty and the food must have been cooked days before and my husband home made pie I wouldn't like to say what we thought I had chicken I thought it was nanm bread cooked days before and warmed up and this is true not one word is a lie
