Excellent breakfasts and great service from Gay and Chris during the week.
We love the location. The Kings Head is a great place to stay. Friendly staff. Great real ale and food. Old peculiar real ale is excellent. Our room had a high ceiling. They need an extended duster to get the dust weds down.
I have been to this pub before but this time we managed to get a late lunch. The drinks selection is great, but I only drink Theakstons Old Peculiar, so I was happy. The food was well portioned and tasty. Rooms: Great well presented rooms. Better ones outside in the old stable area but you have to leave the building. The rooms upstairs are nearly as good but you only have to go upstairs. Food & drinks: Typical well stocked bar for every taste. No cheap but it's a rural establishment
The staff here could not have been nicer .we are a walking group and they opened up the conference room and offered us free tea and coffee .we will definitely return
Had a family meal on the evening of Good Friday. We never had to grab attention from the staff they was always there when the drinks were low. The food was amazing. The children both also had clear plates. Great atmosphere. Fantastic location and when in Masham again we would not hesitate in eating here again.
Very enjoyable stay at the King's Head. Good food, comfortable accommodation and great location. Staff were all very pleasant, breakfast service from Gay and Chris was excellent, efficiency with smiles. Thank you.
Great hotel with the best real ales of any chain hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff are very friendly, rooms clean. Only criticism would be the stingy portions on the full English. No black pudding, about 8 baked beans in a tiny ramekin, and the portion of mushrooms, you would think it was truffles by how tiny the portion was. Staff are great, though. Will be back, and next time ask for extra Oh, it you book through their website and have to pay on the way out, don't worry, when you booked and paid, they only took the authority and not the payment so you aren't paying twice. It's in the small print at the bottom of your booking email. Too many dogs, but that's the way things are these days. Food & drinks: Great ales.
