The Kingfisher - JD Wetherspoon

I've eaten here before and it was ok ...it's what is expected at Witherspoons really ...the food on my last visit wasn't good ...my food was ok standard fish and chips couldn't grumble . A friend ordered a veg curry ...the nan came out cold stone cold like it had been in the freezer ...the children's portion meal mash was tiny ..two mouthfuls ...the food was cold the gravy was lumpy and didn't look or taste like gravy so wasn't eaten. The chicken burger was just ok nothing special Having said this it was a reasonable price but some of the food just wasn't edible Parking: Plenty of parking Kid-friendliness: Good for kids meals usually on this occasion had a very small portion

Nice pub pity we could not swap chips for coleslaw Seemed short staffed with unexpected delays for table service Got their act together really good experience nice to see staff with uniforms Clear tables regularly Keeping up good standards Great to be asked if our food was good just after delivery Parking: Small

Needs someone to keep cleaning the floors as gets filthy with food dropped by customers and better checks on toilets, Also massive outside but anti dogs. Perhaps have daytime for them. They are better behaved than some customers otherwise staff wouldn't need bodycams.

Attended for my nanas birthday. My daughter asked if we could order cake with a happy birthday and wrote on the plate for my nana. Staff said they do nothing like that. Ordered my food and asked for some bbq sauce once food arrived, i was told ide have to pay, ok fine. I'll leave my food goibg cokd, because comes out luck warm to begin with. whilst I go order sauce. Which is did £0.88p for half a tub of bbq sauce. My daughter went to the bar to order me the sauce first, who is 12 to be refused service because she has to be 16? Wetherspoons policy? Garlic bread was hard, a struggle to cut it was that hard. Wouldn't return in a hurry, which is a shame because we often use King Fisher. Just didn't enjoy the visit yesterday. Been twice for brunch, food is good value for money. Bit noisy and very food smelly, they need to invest in some better extractors as could smell food on my clothes when I left.
