The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Richmond South

Went out to this location for my birthday and I got the keg classic, the caesar salad was good however the steak was horrendous, felt like I was chewing a piece of gum I also asked for it medium well and got medium rare. I was also disturbed by how dirty the salad bar is at the front? This is a place you go for a high quality meal and honestly and the food resembled a dive bar. The only thing good was our waiter.

Used to go to the Keg every special occasion for the last 30 years, but now it’s just not worth all that money! The cook there can bit cook at steak! Took my mom for her birthday on Sunday and steaks weren’t cooked right at all!!! Go to CHOP!!!!

As the waitress saw us arrive with our two young kids, she asked if we wanted two children’s menus to which I said yes. She then proceeded to seat us in a dark corner with barely enough space for us four. After 15 minutes I got up and asked for some crayons and paper for the two kids, and if we could have a candle for the tables since it was so dark. The host was mortified, gave us the crayons and colouring sheets and moved us to a better table. We were ignored by the waitress until she realized we had moved to the next table. She was much more attentive closer to the end of the meal. Closer to when her tip would be doled out. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY

It was amazing! The food was nice and hot, my family and i had a nice time here. The service was excellent as well! Definitely recommend.

Really good experience, but not great. Notoriously bad at serving clean glasses and plates. Residue from previous usage so obvious. They had to replace our wine glasses. Happens almost every time here, including a few lasting lipstick marks. Then there was running the air conditioning while it's 4 degrees outside. However, service was off the charts terrific. Food was quite good but hardly spectacular. Again, very nice meal but a few details won't have me returning any time soon.

Not a nice place to go on a romantic date on Valentine's unless you remain in the bar... seated your atmosphere is of the local Dennys. When did spending a lot of money at the Keg turn into a dining hall at Dennys. BAD BAD BAD EXECUTION!! WAIT STAFF in Lounge understands how to serve... wait staff in the dinning area...again can I say Dennys. Ordered the crab... dinner came before the butter, so I had to sit and wait.??? No... it's supposed to be brought to the table after ordering. . And when did the bread on the board with the knife turn in to four cut pieces thrown on a plate not wrapped in a cloth to keep it warm surfice for the Keg??? As I said.. I think we were at Dennys in our mistaken trip to the keg!!!! And you only get three stars because the young girl in the lounge needs to teach your other wait staff how to serve... she... need a a raise.. the others... need to be fired or at least taught.

Kid-friendliness: My kids love it here and request to come here on special occasions (like their birthdays)
