The Horse Shepshed

I went to The Horse for dinner with friends on a Monday evening, it was a nice atmosphere, very friendly and informative staff. I had the pan seared scallops and pork belly for starters which was delicious. Followed by the Mussels from the Specials for the main. The presentation and taste was incredible. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend going to anyone and will be back there soon!

Great food and place!

Fabulous food place, and nice bar area

We booked last minute as a large group of 22 celebrating a 50th, the food was amazing, service from a wonderful woman who was great. Bar staff were great. The communication surrounding the booking and whilst we were there was great. Thank you

Pleasant atmosphere in small pub with bar area and adjoining restaurant room. Open fire in bar area. Excellent food on the pricey side, but great friendly service. Food was fab. Bar menu (sandwiches and pizzas available in the restaurant at lunchtimes in addition to main menu). Good coffee. Plentiful parking. Vegetarian options: Aubergine "steak" with garlic butter, served with chips grilled tomato, sauté mushrooms and charred lettuce was particularly good.
