THE GRILL

Mostly fine food except poor treatment from staff. The waiter asked to give us our check before we even got our food, and then later tried to take my plate before I was done eating. Then my wife ordered a burger and fries but wasn’t able to finish it asked for a carry out box for the 75% of her meal that she hadn’t finished. Instead of bringing a box, they took the whole plate. Ten minutes later I had to ask for her food back and they had to go find it. And when they got back, the entire order of French fries had disappeared. I had to tell them to bring us a new order. When we left they gave us a bag for the carry out food that was falling apart. Just overall not a good experience.

Tasty food however we were left with a sour taste in our mouth from the beginning. While waiting for our mother to arrive with our children, we asked to be seated at our table twice. Both times the host rudely refused saying they wouldn't seat us until our entire party had arrived. At this point it was only 11am and there was almost no one else in the restaurant. Then when the rest of our family arrived, we were required to wait while several groups in front of us got checked in. The host was very rude and unfriendly to us.

The food was exceptional and the service was even better. The Manager (Char) made us feel so at home. We sat in the patio area facing the water. The ambiance was nice and the drinks were really good too!

The hostess and servers were very welcoming. Richard is very knowledgeable and provided great suggestions. I love the express option. Everything was flavorful. The herb fries are a hit! Try the grill punch. It had the right amount of sweetness. Can’t wait to visit again.

Food was not great. Crab dip was just cheese with 2 pieces of crab and not hot. Mac and cheese tasted sour. Burger came out burnt to a crisp and extremely well done. By the time we could wave our server down the rest of our party was finished eating so I didn't even get to eat dinner. No manager even walked to the outside patio area the entire hour and a half we were there or stopped by the table to say anything about our hockey puck of a burger. Talked to one on the way out and his response was "sorry for the inconvenience I wasn't aware" even though there was a refire check and he was working expo. Not great service or awareness and not worth the $250. Will not return.

Food, service & atmosphere was excellent! The grilled pineapple upside down cake was amazing!!

My friends and I were so hungry we decided on eating here and I could definitely say it’s very nice, but my food was not great, I talked with my waiter Danny about getting the Pollo tacos but he he recommended the Pollo Chilango (2/10) because it would be more chicken, I was under the impression it would be chicken tacos but let me say this to say, the white rice was not well cooked, too chewy and hard and the roasted chicken wasn’t very flavorful… he overheard me mentioning how my food wasn’t good and didn’t offer to fix it which is fine…

We have been coming to the Grill for a while now and unfortunately the service and offerings have gone downhill. Today we arrived and had reservations but were left waiting for about ten minutes, despite the hostess just standing at the desk and plenty of empty tables in view. We then had to wait another 10-15 for the water to come to our table.Then we ordered the dish we had for lunch two days ago and we're told that since it's Sunday we cannot have the seabass for lunch. We also couldn't have the surf and turf! We had to choose other items despite the dishes we want being available for dinner the same day. The service was very slow we are sitting here for an hour and still our main dishes haven't arrived. The table next to us has asked twice for salt and pepper and haven't received it. I ordered the burger and the bun was cold and untoasted.Another table sat empty outside for about 40 minutes waiting for someone to bother to sweep up the floor after the prior clients with toddlers. We left at 1pm and the menu with seabass is available at 3. The Grill needs to improve it's client service and empower their waiters to give your clients what the menu items they want.

Salmon & crab cakes superb. Fries & house mayo below par. Service was friendly & competent. Design was rather pedestrian, a bit boring. Hosts were almost unfriendly, expressed no welcoming words.
