Went yesterday for Sunday Lunch, 4 adults and a toddler. The waitress was fantastic, and really accommodating to our child. Service was fantastic and the food was excellent, especially the stuffing. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly
Lovely pub, great food and fantastic service. Thanks Brad!
It was a Saturday lunch which was only 1/3 full. But we had been waiting our food for 40mins. We didnt eager the staff, but no one told us how long we still had to wait for our food. The food portion was smaller than other pubs. But the food taste was quite normal. My medium lambs were unexpectedly chewy. After I came home to check our bill, I just realized there was a £2 for peppercorn? We have been many other pubs or British restaurant. Unfortunately this one is not what we expected. The main plate should be around £15, but not worth over £23.
We've eaten Sunday lunch here several times, the food has always been excellent and generous, the dining room upstairs is really nice with a view over Kew Green, the service is good. The Sunday roasts are delicious. A nice treat after a morning visit to Kew Gardens.
For the last three years we’ve been lucky enough to live in the lane right behind this pub. It’s our regular and hasn’t let us down. We regularly dine here with our young son, it’s very family friendly and welcoming. They have a set course menu during the week and for less than 10 pounds the portion and quality is hard to beat. Sunday roast is also served and well worth it. Good for a pint before the game or a meal during the week with friends or family, highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: Nice outdoor area that is a non-smoking area. Very welcoming to dogs and children. There is a playground also very nearby.
Nice place. A little cramped. But lovely view out onto green.
Not a vegetarian/vegan friendly pub! They had burger and a pint on offer for £15 but apparently it didn't include the vegan burger so was charged £17.92 instead without a pint ...
