Had a 30th Birthday here in the event room and Terrace. The manager and staff were very helpful and everybody enjoyed the night. Look forward to seeing it when the kitchen is back running and the facilities are updated by the new owners.

Had a really nice couple of hours here today. Had a lovely Sunday roast and nice atmosphere. Warm pub and great background music. The staff were really friendly.

Had an awesome time this week. Got a place by the Food was amazing as usual, love the gravy. Thanks guys.

Really nice food and lovely pub.

Lovely friendly staff, nice environment but really let down by the food. A caesar salad at nearly ten quid should not be 90% plain old lettuce and the triple cooked chips looked like they would have been overcooked after the first cook. Barely edible. The bacon in the club sandwich must have triple cooked too. I'm sure there ate some good options big you would think that those simple choices would have been done well. Dietary restrictions: Some gf options

As you can see from the photos the state of the building is rather poor with a lot of cleaning needed especially in the toilet area where there was used toilet paper still floating around and all dirty. The ceiling was full of water infiltration and the smell of damp was present as well. We did not feel welcomed in this place and the table service was good but could not change the overall bad atmosphere. The food could've been better for the money that we spent. Would not recommend.
