Omg. I’ve just demolished the best roast beef sandwich Ive ever had in my life. And I’m a fat 51 year old so I’ve had a lot of roast beef sandwiches in my time. Epic.
great dog friendly pub / restaurant.
Stubbled across this hidden gem. Down an alley way from the main road the place is set back so you cannot immediately see it. We visited after a walk in the Peak District with our baby and was perfect. Staff were friendly and accommodating, high chairs provided and hot water. Plenty of choice of beers and plenty on new ones which aren’t very common. Perfect for a beer lover. The pub is also a restaurant and looked like it had been recently refurbished with modern stylish decor. Other guests were also friendly with a few locals taking time to chat and interact with ourselves and our baby. Highly recommend a visit. Kid-friendliness: Yes
What a great place food was amazing staff and service 100% can’t recommend this place enough definitely will be coming back
Great place high spec decor & great ambience Fantastic service from all staff. Open kitchen which is nice to see. Great meal. Highly recommend Kid-friendliness: We didn’t have children in our party But was clear Welcomed children & dogs. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
Really lovely place in the heart of Ashbourne. We found The Green Man to be the perfect end to our day out in the Peaks with our baby. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating as were all the locals who stopped to chat or exchanged smiles with our son. There was plenty of choice in terms of ales/lagers with the opportunity to try things we hadn’t come across before. This place is a hidden gem in Ashbourne; it’s sleek, modern and crisp in decor, the toilets and baby changing facilities were all spotless as were the highchairs and the staff have excellent customer service skills. Highly recommend!
£13.90 for one glass of mediocre wine. Avoid this bar if you don't like being ripped off.
