The Great British Shop

Fantastic service! Unique gifts (i'm going here for xmas shopping). Their meat pies ( the steak one is great. (I'm trying lamb and mint next!) and bakery sweets are fantastic as well as the unique items you can get for loved ones for gifts! I was feeling down but looking in this shop really cheered me up! I definitely recommend visiting this store just for the overall experience.

Hands down, better than Greggs!

I was in the store this morning and for the first time did not receive good service. The person at the cash told me she did not know if there was any Robinsons. I did find about 30 bottles. I was the only customer in the store and this staff person then decided to disappear in the back of the store. After waiting several minutes I poked my head inside the back and called out that I needed someone at the cash. I should not have to chase staff to cash out. Not a great attitude from her either and no apology for the poor service. A less honest person than I could have walked out with half the stock. Disappointing.

As a Brit, this shop is like going home. I would have 1 of everything if I could, but if you have to choose only one thing in this shop you must try the pies. They are excellent, tasty and not short of filling. My wife enjoyed a Sausage Roll, and I had a steak and stilton pie, and a steak and kidney pie, all were just great, very tasty.

Boss lady surprised me with a festive (turkey dinner) pastry (croissant), and it was to die for!

Love this place! Can get all my British treats and even some meats and frozen items.

A great place to shop, so many yummy options!!

I have been going here so often that the ladies and I know each other by names. Yes, they sell freshly baked British foods that you can take home to heat up - yourself. The sausage rolls are normally what sell out the quickest, as they are ADDICTIVE. The ladies normally have a bunch stocked in their counter heater, ready for lunch time frame for those looking for something quick and deliciously filling. There are sometimes also pot pies in the counter heater, along with pasties - but again, depends on the time of day, as they sell fast!! The options for foods is definitely worth looking, I always get distracted by looking around, everytime I go in. The cheesy onion pasty is actually quite delicious if you like cheese and some spice in a pastry. It's NomNomNom!! My most FAVOURITE treat is the strawberry custard tarts. OH-EM-GEE, they are tastebud heaven!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 When I find out those are made, they don't stay in store for long. LoL sorry, not sorry! I brag and will support this store as long as it is around.
