Very friendly, very selfless, helpful and a generally happy, and Comforting place to eat and meet new people
When you are dining at the Grace Cafe, you have to eat their food with a "it's better than nothing" mindset. The quality of their food is not the best. They put so much butter and cream in their chicken noodle soup. It's not healthy for your body. You enjoy the taste of butter and cream now, but they are bad for your heart. While I understand that their goal is to serve as many people as possible with free food, I was very SURPRISED that they serve expired yogurt and are quick to justify that "it's still good for a few more days." The pasta salad they served tasted sour. The lasagna they served tasted sour. They should've been thrown out, not served. Hungry, homeless people will eat anything, and the Grace Cafe knows this. Their catering donors know this, too. Rather than put expired food into your body, it's better to goto the food bank and get Campbell's soup cans and fresh food.
Fantastic community resource run by kind hearted people.
This is hands down the best place to go and eat in Saint thomas.. Friendly people and the good thing is everything is free ☺
