Cracking Joules pub, good atmosphere and great staff. Proper old style pub.

Went here with my son when we needed to eat somewhere local to his university. I was a bit daunted as it was filled with men who looked like long standing regulars. The service was great. Tap cider was great. The menu looked like the usual pub grub. We both chose fish and chips and it was SO good! Totally delicious and the best F&C I’ve had in a very long time! Excellent value!

Stellar little pub. Gorgeous interior, lovely staff, great drinking pub and great food with a roaring fire. Also sell some delightful earrings home made by their very own Wendy! Highly recommended.
